JetBlue has named Tracy Lawlor as the carrier’s new Chief People Officer. A 23 year aviation industry veteran, Ms. Lawlor has served as JetBlue’s Acting Chief People Officer since March 2024.
On Wednesday (June 26, 2024), JetBlue announced the appointment of Tracy Lawlor as Chief People Officer. Ms. Lawlor is a 23 year aviation industry veteran and has served as JetBlue’s Acting Chief People Officer since March 2024. In her new role, Lawlor will be responsible for engaging JetBlue crewmembers, fostering the company’s unique culture, and overseeing teams such as compensation and benefits, crew relations, values, labor relations, recruiting, talent management and more. She will report directly to JetBlue’s Chief Executive Officer, Joanna Geraghty.
In Wednesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s CEO, Joanna Geraghty, said,

Her deep understanding of our business as well as her passion for our mission and values make her the ideal leader to help guide our people and culture as we execute our strategy and set up JetBlue for long-term success.”
Also commenting on her new role as JetBlue’s Chief People Officer, Tracy Lawlor, added,

Tracy Lawlor joined JetBlue in 2001, and held a number of financial roles, including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. She was appointed Vice President of Strategy and Business Development in 2017, and later became the airline’s Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. Most recently, Lawlor served as JetBlue’s Chief Strategy and Integration Officer, before becoming Acting Chief People Officer in March 2024.
