The appointment of Mr. Ford as an Independent Director of JetBlue’s Board is effective immediately, following approval by the company’s Board of Directors. Ford previously served as American Airlines’ SVP and Chief Information Officer.
On Tuesday (January 19, 2021), JetBlue announced the appointment of Monte Ford as and Independent Director of the company’s Board. The appointment is effective immediately, following approval by JetBlue’s Board of Directors. Mr. Ford brings nearly four decades of experience to the Board and is currently the Principal Partner at the CIO Strategy Exchange, an organization of the top 50 sitting Chief Information Officers in business. Ford previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at American Airlines. In today’s announcement, JetBlue’s Chairman of the Board, Peter Boneparth, said,

Also commenting on Monte Ford’s Board appointment, JetBlue’s Chief Executive Officer, Robin Hayes, added,
