JetBlue Announces Launch of Winter Seasonal Service to Telluride, Colorado

JetBlue’s winter seasonal service to Colorado’s Montrose Regional Airport started Saturday with Flight #2325 from Boston and Flight #2450 from Los Angeles arriving at approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon.


On Saturday (December 19, 2020), JetBlue announced the start of their new seasonal service to Colorado’s Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) near Telluride. The first flights started on Saturday with Flight #2325 from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Flight #2450 from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) arriving in Montrose around 2:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. The new seasonal service is part of airline’s ongoing diversification strategy and JetBlue is now the only carrier to offer nonstop service between New England and Montrose as well as a new option for skiers from Southern California. Additionally, the carrier plans on offering supplemental service to Montrose from New York-JFK during the peak travel period around President’s Day. In Saturday’s announcement, JetBlue’s Vice President – Network Planning, Andrea Lusso, said,


“JetBlue’s new seasonal service in Telluride – via Montrose Regional Airport – is the latest example of JetBlue adapting its route map to better serve customers in this new travel environment. At the same time, the new routes not only help us diversify our network, but also introduce another unique destination to our customer bases in our East and West Coast focus cities.”


Telluride is located around 90 minutes south of Montrose and is one of the premier destinations in the West. The city is nestled in Colorado’s stunning San Juan Mountains and is known for world-class alpine skiing, breathtaking scenery and a vibrant summer festival season.
