Additionally, the carrier plans on offering supplemental service to Montrose from New York-JFK during the peak travel period around President’s Day. In Saturday’s announcement, JetBlue’s Vice President – Network Planning, Andrea Lusso, said,

“JetBlue’s new seasonal service in Telluride – via Montrose Regional Airport – is the latest example of JetBlue adapting its route map to better serve customers in this new travel environment. At the same time, the new routes not only help us diversify our network, but also introduce another unique destination to our customer bases in our East and West Coast focus cities.”

Telluride is located around 90 minutes south of Montrose and is one of the premier destinations in the West. The city is nestled in Colorado’s stunning San Juan Mountains and is known for world-class alpine skiing, breathtaking scenery and a vibrant summer festival season.
