On Wednesday (October 6, 2021), Airbus announced that Leeds, UK-based carrier Jet2.com has placed an additional order for 15 Airbus A321neos. The new order follows an August 2021 order for 36 of the aircraft type, expanding their total order to 51 aircraft. The aircraft will be configured with 232 seats and feature the Airspace cabin with innovative lighting, new seating products and overhead bins which are 60 percent larger than previous generation aircraft.
