On Friday, Japan Airlines released flight schedules for their previously announced network expansion plans in China. The schedule includes new Haneda service to Dalian and Shanghai and a schedule change for Narita-Dalian service.
Japan Airlines (JAL) released their Chinese network expansion schedule yesterday which includes new service and schedule changes. In March 2020, JAL will launch their Haneda-Dalian service and will be the only carrier operating the route. The airline is also launching a second daily flight to Dalian from Tokyo-Narita. Japan Airlines will now offer a morning flight from Haneda and an evening flight from Narita adding greater flexibility for customers traveling to Dalian.
JAL currently operates three daily flights from Narita to Shanghai-Pudong and one daily flight from Haneda to Shanghai-Pudong. A second flight from Haneda will be added on March 29, 2020, bringing the total daily frequency of flights from Tokyo metropolitan airports to five. The carrier will also continue to offer once daily service between Tokyo-Haneda and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. JAL believes the expanded service to China will bring people and cultures closer and contribute to further development and economic growth in both nations. Customers can book flights between Tokyo-Haneda and both Dalian and Shanghai-Pudong starting January 15, 2020.
