ITB Berlin 2024 Day 1: Emirates Warmly Welcomes Key Dignitaries

Emirates has today welcomed key dignitaries on the opening day of ITB Berlin 2024 at their new 480 square-meter stand located in Hall 2.2.  Officials were given a tour of the carrier’s latest Economy Class seat, as well as their iconic Airbus A380 lounge.

On Tuesday (March 5, 2024), Emirates marked the opening of ITB Berlin 2024 with a warm welcome to an official tour delegation including Kai Wegner, Governing Mayor of Berlin; Franziska Giffey, Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises and Dieter Janecek, Federal Government Coordinator of the Maritime Industry and Tourism, and other senior officials.  Members of the VIP delegation were officially welcomed by Sir Tim Clarke, President Emirates Airline and Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Emirates welcomed officials with a tour of the airline’s Economy Class seat display with its latest amenities, along with the airline’s iconic Airbus A380 Onboard Lounge.  The airline has three action-packed days planned at ITB Berlin, with the goal of strengthening and forging new strategic partnerships across the regional travel and aviation ecosystem.  Emirates has served the German market for over 35 years, and remains committed to supporting tourism and the local economy.  For more than two decades, Emirates has also shown interest in adding Berlin (BER) to their global network, thereby expanding their operations in Germany.  Emirates’ new 480 square-meter stand is located in Hall 2.2.
