IndiGo to Launch New Daily Service Between India and the Middle East

From March 26, 2023, IndiGo will launch new daily service between Abu Dhabi and Hyderabad and Chennai and Muscat, as well as between Abu Dhabi and Chennai.

On Wednesday (February 8, 2023), IndiGo announced the launch of new flights between India and the Middle East with service between Abu Dhabi and Hyderabad, Chennai and Muscat, and between Abu Dhabi and Chennai. The new routes will operate daily from March 26, 2023. The new connections to Abu Dhabi will improve access to world-class tourist attractions such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Ferrari World, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Yas Island, to name a few. Visitors to Muscat can also enjoy top tourist attractions, including Mutrah Corniche, the Grand Mosque Muscat, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Yiyi Beach, Bait Al Zubair and more.


In Wednesday’s route announcement, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, said,


“We are pleased to announce addition of new flights to cater to the increasing demand between India and the Middle East. These new connections will support the medical students and tourists travelling to Muscat and Abu Dhabi. The increased accessibility to the Middle East, well-known for its food, culture and oil reserves, will promote both commerce and tourism. We will continue to enhance international connectivity and uphold our promise of providing a courteous, on-time, hassle-free, and affordable travel experience across the wide network.”


Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu, and is known for its culture and ancient temples. The city is also an industrial and technology center and home to renowned medical centers, automobile manufacturers and software developers. Hyderabad is also home to world-class medical centers and features numerous historic sites such as Charminar, Golconda Fort, Chowmahalla Palace, Salar Jung Museum and many more.
