IndiGo to Launch Daily Service Between Delhi and Leh Starting February 22, 2021

The carrier’s new Delhi-Leh route will become Indigo’s 63rd domestic destination. Leh is the capital of Ladakh and is known for stunning landscapes, crystal clear skies, adventurous activities and Buddhist Monasteries and festivals.

Today (January 18, 2021), IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, announced the launch of new daily service between Delhi and Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Leh is the land of Buddhist Monasteries and festivals and offers stunning landscapes, crystal clear skies and adventurous activities. The destination is especially popular with tourists between April and September. In Monday’s announcement, IndiGo’s Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, said,


“We are pleased to begin expansion of our domestic network beyond the pre-covid levels. This will also be our first destination amongst the seven regional stations we announced recently. We are working towards enhancing regional connectivity, which will not only increase access but also promote domestic trade and tourism in the country.
