IndiGo Adds 21 More Flights to Winter 2022/23 Schedule

IndiGo has launched an additional 21 flights as part of their winter 2022/23 schedule with service from Hyderabad and Kolkata to popular beach destinations including Port Blair, Kochi and Goa.

On Monday (December 19, 2022), IndiGo announced the launch of 21 additional flights for winter 2022/23, including service from Hyderabad and Kolkata to beach destinations such as Port Blair, Kochi, and Goa. Port Blair is rich in culture and diversity and offers many historic tourist attractions. The city is also the perfect gateway to the Andaman and Nicobar islands, as well as smaller islands including Corbyn’s Cove, Wandoor, Ross Island and Viper Island, among others. Kochi, also known as Cochin, is one of the most picturesque destinations on the southwest coastline of Kerala. Kochi’s all-weather harbor and stunning seascape has earned it the title ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea.’ Goa is one of the most popular destinations for Indian tourists due to its beaches and vibrant nightlife. The city is famous for its churches and age-old ruins, along with palm-fringed beaches such as Baga, Calangute, Vagatur and Anjuna.


In Monday’s announcement, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, said,


“We are witnessing high traffic demand which is enabling the industry's recovery. As beach destinations are in high demand from October to February, these new flights will increase direct connectivity from Hyderabad and Kolkata to Port Blair, Kochi, and Goa respectively. Our winter schedule flights will add capacity and make travel affordable, while offering more options to customers. We will continue to uphold our promise of providing a courteous, on-time, hassle-free, and affordable travel experience.”
