On Tuesday (May 23, 2023), Hong Kong Airlines announced the launch of four-times weekly service between Hong Kong and Nagoya, Japan starting July 8, 2023. This follows the start of new service to Fukuoka in April and the resumption of flights to other destinations in Japan. Nagoya is the capital city of Aichi Prefecture and home to 2.3 million residents.
