In partnership with StatusMatch.com, Frontier Airlines is launching a first of its kind status match program for eligible hotel and airline loyalty members in North and South America. Members can now apply to receive equivalent status or buy-up a tier of equivalent status.
On Wednesday (December 1, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of a first of its kind match program for hotel and airline loyalty members in North and South America. In partnership with StatusMatch.com, eligible loyalty members can now apply to receive equivalent status with Frontier Miles, or buy-up a tier of equivalent status until December 31, 2022. Frontier Miles members enjoy benefits such as complimentary seat selections and carry-on baggage. In today’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Director of Loyalty and Customer Intelligence, Tommy Langhauser, said,
“Frontier’s frequent flyer program offers incredible value for customers and we’re thrilled to extend an invitation to current status holders of hotels and airlines in the Americas to join FRONTIER Miles. With our growing route network, that includes many international vacation destinations, we look forward to welcoming new status members into our FRONTIER Miles program.”
Status verification and buy-ups start at $49, and applicants will need to sign up for Frontier Miles, which is free to join. Frontier Miles has three status tiers, namely Elite 20k, Elite 50k and Elite 100k. All Elite members enjoy access to Family pooling of miles, making miles far more usable. At the first tier level (Elite 20k) members enjoy benefits such as free carry-ons and seat assignments, while the second tier benefits (Elite 50k) include upgraded seating for the whole family. Top tier (Elite 100k) members receive both status and ‘The Works’ for the whole family, which includes access to the best seats onboard, a checked bag, a carry-on bag and fully refundable tickets with no change fees.
