Frontier Airlines Launches Nonstop Service Between Durango and Denver

Today, Frontier Airlines launched nonstop service between Durango and Denver with four weekly flights. The carrier will also offer two weekly flights from Durango to Las Vegas starting Friday, June 11, 2021.

On Friday (June 4, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the start of nonstop service between Denver and Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) with four weekly flights. Starting next Friday, June 11, 2021 the carrier will also launch two weekly flights from Durango to Las Vegas. To celebrate the route launch, Frontier is offering one-way fares starting at only $39. To qualify for the low introductory fares, customers must book their travel by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 10, 2021 for travel on select days through June 24, 2021.


In Friday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Director of Pricing, Andrew Konradi, said,


“We’re excited to arrive in Durango with a convenient, nonstop intra-state route to Denver as well as flights to Las Vegas starting next week. Frontier proudly calls Colorado home and we’re continuing to expand affordable travel access for locals and visitors to explore the spectacular terrain and activities unique to The Centennial State.”

Also commenting on the launch of the new route, Durango-La Plata County’s Airport Director, Tony Vicari, said,


“We are excited to welcome Frontier Airlines back to DRO. Frontier’s low fares and nonstop flights to Denver and Las Vegas have already begun generating an enthusiastic response with travelers throughout Southwest Colorado and Northwest New Mexico. I am confident that our passenger base will support these added routes by flying local from DRO on Frontier.”
