Frontier Airlines Launches New Service Between Miami and Nassau, Bahamas

Frontier Airlines has launched four weekly flights between Miami and Nassau in the Bahamas. From July, the airline will also expand their Miami network with two weekly flights to San Jose, Costa Rica and once-weekly service to St. Maarten.

Today (June 24, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of four weekly flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Nassau, Bahamas. To celebrate the route launch, the carrier is offering introductory one-way fares from only $39. To qualify for the limited-time fares, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 30th, for travel on Tuesdays and Sundays through November 14, 2021. Blackout dates include July 6th, September 7th and October 10, 2021 (roundtrip purchase not required). Additionally, Frontier Airlines will expand their offer from Miami in July with new twice-weekly service to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), as well as once-weekly flights to St. Maarten (SXM).


In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ CEO, Barry Biffle, said,


“We’re excited to launch new nonstop flights between Miami and Nassau. The Bahamas is one of the top international vacation destinations within easy reach of the U.S. and, with our ‘Low Fares Done Right’ approach to flying, it is now even more affordable to visit and explore this amazing island paradise. Plus, travelers have even more to be excited about with nonstop Costa Rica and St. Maarten flights launching next month. These new routes highlight our commitment to making travel to popular vacation destinations more accessible for South Floridians.”
