On Tuesday (March 21, 2023), Frontier Airlines announced five new and resumed seasonal routes from Atlanta (ATL). From May 2023, the carrier will launch new seasonal service to Guatemala City (GUA), Guatemala, Santo Domingo (SDQ), Dominican Republic, and San Diego (SAN). Frontier will also restart seasonal service in May from Atlanta to Ontario (ONT), California and Salt Lake City (SLC). With the new and resumed routes, the airline will increase weekly international departures in Atlanta from 21 to 39, and expand their Atlanta network to 38 nonstop destinations. Celebrating the new and resumed routes, Frontier is offering one-way fares from $79. To qualify for the low introductory fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 Eastern Time on March 29, 2023, for travel on select days from May 11th through June 28, 2023. Blackout dates include May 26-29, 2023 (a roundtrip purchase is not required).

In Tuesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,

“Atlanta is one of Frontier’s fastest growing markets. We are proud to connect Atlanta to 10 international destinations and 28 U.S. destinations. We are working hard to make our already robust network at ATL even bigger and, in fact, by summer, Atlanta will be our third largest operation. We know those in the Atlanta area appreciate Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right,’ and now they can take advantage of even more affordable and convenient options when planning their next vacation.”

Also commenting on Frontier’s network expansion in Atlanta, ATL’s Deputy General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer, Jai Ferrell, added,

“We are pleased to partner with Frontier Airlines with these five new nonstop routes. Additional service and new destinations expand connectivity for our passengers and illustrates our mission to deliver excellence while connecting our community to the world.”
