flydubai to Launch Twice Daily Service to Doha From January 26, 2021

The Dubai-based carrier will resume service to Qatar with double-daily flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, starting January 26, 3021.

On Thursday (January 21, 2021), flydubai announced the resumption of service to Qatar with twice-daily flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Hamad International Airport in Doha starting January 36, 2021. Flydubai guests flying to and from Doha can experience the carrier’s Business Class with extra space and privacy, a comfortable and spacious seat, a wide selection of inflight entertainment and a range of delicious snacks and complimentary beverages. Economy Class guests will enjoy a Recaro designed seat offering optimal levels of space and comfort. The carrier continues to rollout Wi-Fi fleetwide, keeping customers connected from gate to gate. flydubai customers can choose between bundled (Flex/Value) or unbundled (Lite) fares depending on their travel needs.


In Thursday’s announcement, flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said,


“With today’s announcement we see the flydubai network grow to 64 destinations. Flights to Doha will start from 26 January and to meet expected demand we are pleased to launch operations with a double daily service. We hope to be able to continue to grow the service.”


Also commenting on the launch of the new Doha route, flydubai’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Sudhir Sreedharan, added,


“flydubai offers convenient and reliable travel services between both countries. Passengers have the opportunity to choose how they would like to travel whether it is in the comfort of Business Class or a customized experience in Economy Class. Recently, flydubai introduced complimentary extended multi-risk insurance which includes COVID-19 cover, offering travelers greater peace of mind during their journey. Additionally, the carrier has partnered with Aster DM Healthcare and NMC Healthcare in the UAE to offer passengers PCR testing at special rates. To qualify for the discounted rates, customers must present a valid flydubai booking confirmation along with their Emirates ID or passport copy.
