On Tuesday (June 15, 2021), flydubai announced the launch of daily service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Warsaw Chopin International Airport (WAW) staring September 30, 2021, complementing existing twice-weekly service to Krakow (KRK). The flights will operate out of DXB Terminal 3 with Business Class return fares from AED 7,000 (US $1,905) and Economy Class return fares from AED 1,730 (US $471). Located on the Vistula River, Warsaw is Poland’s capital and is known for stunning architecture, green outdoor spaces, cultural history and a wide variety of cafes and restaurants.

In Tuesday’s announcement, flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said,

“We have been flying to Krakow in Poland since 2018 and by adding Warsaw to our network we are providing our passengers with more options for travel to and from Poland. We look forward to creating travel and trade flows with our daily service.”

Also commenting on the new route launch, flydubai’s Vice President – Commercial Operations and E-Commerce, Jeyhun Efendi, added,

“We are pleased to see our network in Europe grow further with the start of operations to Warsaw. With daily flights to Warsaw, and more countries lifting restrictions on international travel, passengers will have the opportunity to explore more destinations on the flydubai network.”

flydubai has grown their network to 90 destinations including summer seasonal service to Batumi (Georgia), Bodrum and Trabzon (Turkey), Mykonos and Santorini (Greece), Naples (Italy), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) and Tivat (Montenegro). The carrier also offers a range of rich cultural destinations for city breaks such as Baku, Bucharest, Budapest, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Tbilisi, Tirana and Yerevan, as well as popular beach and tropical hotspots including the Maldives and Zanzibar. Flights to Warsaw will be codeshared with Emirates, offering guests seamless connections to over 168 destinations on both networks via Dubai.

flydubai was founded in 2009 and currently serves over 70 destinations in 47 countries across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Europe, the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. The Dubai-based carrier has opened more than 40 new routes that previously did not have direct air links to Dubai. flydubai operates a single fleet type of 51 Boeing 737s including 36 Next Generation 737-800s, 11 737 MAX 8s and three 737 MAX 9s.
