Flair Airlines to Launch New Service Between Abbotsford and Puerto Vallarta From January 2023

Starting January 10, 2023, Flair Airlines will launch new service between Abbotsford and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The carrier also recently launched flights to Puerto Vallarta from both Edmonton and Vancouver.

On Wednesday (November 9, 2022), Flair Airlines announced the launch of new twice weekly service between Abbotsford and Puerto Vallarta International Airport, complementing recently launched service to the popular Mexican destination from both Edmonton International Airport and Vancouver International Airport. Celebrating the launch of the new service, Flair is offering introductory one-way fares from $119, including taxes and fees.

In Wednesday’s route announcement, Flair Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Garth Lund, said,


“Our Mexico markets continue to be successful, and we’re pleased to offer additional options for Abbotsford and surrounding areas. Puerto Vallarta is an exciting new destination in our network, and we know passengers will enjoy the beautiful weather when this flight launches in January.”


Flair Airlines is Canada’s only independent ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) and the company’s mission is to make travel accessible and affordable for all Canadians. The airline operates a growing fleet of Next Generation Boeing 737-800s and 737-8s, and serves over 35 Canadian, U.S. and Mexican destinations. The airline plans on growing their fleet to 50 aircraft by 2025.
