In June, Finland reopened their borders for travelers from Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway. During July, Finnair will now offer around 70-80 daily one-way flights to domestic, European and Asian destinations including Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong. In Thursday’s announcement, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ole Orvér said,

“Changes in travel restrictions are quickly reflected in the bookings of our flights and we can clearly see that people have a need and desire to travel. We are already now looking forward to the next round of new openings in two weeks’ time and the possibilities they will bring to our network and customers. The Finnish travel industry welcomes international tourists to explore the beautiful Finnish summer. The Northern white nights can be experienced for example in Finnish Lapland, the Finnish nature has plenty to offer for travelers who look for authentic experiences.”
