Finnair Cancels All U.S. Flights and Service to Delhi

Finnair announced on Thursday the cancellation of all flights to the US between March 19th and April 12, 2020, due to new US Government travel restrictions. Additionally, the carrier will cancel flights to Delhi India between March 15th and April 14, 2020.

Today, as a result of newly imposed US travel restrictions, Finnair announced the cancellation of all flights to the US from March 19th through April 12, 2020. The carrier will also cancel service to Delhi, India between March 15th and April 14, 2020 due to recent visa restrictions. Finnair will fly between Helsinki and New York until March 18, 2020 in order to repatriate customers. Schengen Area passengers will be prevented from entering the US from midnight March 13, 2020 and U.S. citizens and legal residents who have visited a Schengen Area country in the last 14 days will be subject to additional health screening. Finnair will operate their March 12th flight to Miami, as well as their flight to Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Finnair guests affected by flight cancellations will be contacted directly.
