Etihad Airways to Launch Twice Weekly Service to Vienna From July 18, 2021

Etihad Airways will launch two weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Vienna starting July 18, 2021. The route will be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and flights have been timed for an early morning arrival in Vienna.

On Tuesday (June 22, 2021), Etihad Airways announced the launch of new twice-weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Vienna from July 18, 2021. Flights have been timed for a convenient early morning arrival in Vienna, providing UAE travelers the opportunity for an idyllic weekend getaway to the breathtaking Austrian capital. Austria is currently open to residents and nationals of Austria, residents of Schengen member states and Switzerland, as well as business travelers and students. Etihad Airways is offering fares on the route from AED 1,995 (US $543).


The airline also recently launched ‘Verified to Fly’ which allows guests to validate their COVID-19 travel documents prior to their arrival at the airport. Users of the program will also enjoy fast track check-in at the airport by going to a dedicated Verified to Fly Desk. To use the service, guests can sign-up by visiting “Manage my Booking” on the Etihad.com website.
