Etihad Airways’ inaugural flights between Abu Dhabi and Bali took to the skies of Tuesday (June 25th). The new route will operate four times weekly with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring 28 Business Class and 262 Economy Class seats.
On Wednesday (June 26, 2024), Etihad Airways announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Abu Dhabi and Bali, with flight EY476 departing Zayed International Airport on Tuesday June 25, 2026. Upon arrival in Denpasar (Bali) on Wednesday, the aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute as Etihad’s Captains waved the flags of the UAE and Indonesia to mark the special occasion. The new route will operate four times weekly with a state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring 28 renowned Business Studios seats and 262 Economy Smart seats.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Etihad Airways’ Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, Arik De, said,
“I am honoured to be welcomed to the island today and proud to bring a full flight on our inaugural journey into Bali. We are thrilled to add Bali to the growing list of destinations we serve directly from Abu Dhabi. It becomes our second destination in Indonesia, adding to the capital Jakarta. We look forward to connecting our guests from the Middle East, Europe and across our global network with the Indonesian tropical island.”
