Emirates to Resume Service to Saudi Arabia and St. Petersburg

Emirates will restart flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 11th and to St. Petersburg from October 8, 2021. The carrier will offer 24 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia with daily flights to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, plus three weekly flights to Medina.

On Thursday (September 9, 2021), Emirates announced the resumption of service to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and St. Petersburg, Russia. Starting September 11, 2021, the carrier will offer 24 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia with daily service to Riyadh, daily A380 flights to Jeddah, daily service to Dammam and three weekly flights to Medina. Dubai-Riyadh service will be increased to three daily flights from September 16, 2021. Emirates daily flight to Riyadh, EK 2817, departs Dubai at 16:40 and arrives at King Khalid International Airport at 17:40, while the return flight, EK 2818, departs Riyadh at 20:10 and arrives in Dubai at 23:20. With daily service to Jeddah, EK 2803 departs Dubai at 16:00 and lands at King Abdulaziz International Airport at 18:00, with the return flight, EK 2804, departing Jeddah at 20:00 and arriving in Dubai at 01:00 the next morning (all times local).


Emirates will operate daily service to Dammam with flight EK 2821 departing Dubai at 20:50 and arriving at King Fahd International Airport at 21:20. The return flight, EK 2822, departs Dammam at 22:45 and arrives in Dubai at 01:00 the next day. Emirates will also operate three weekly flights to Medina with EK 2809 departing Dubai at 16:30 and arriving at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport at 18:00. The return flight, EK 2810, departs Medina at 20:00 and arrives in Dubai at 23:40 (all times local).


Starting October 8th, Emirates will offer four weekly flights between Dubai and St. Petersburg, increasing to daily flights from October 21st, 2021. All Dubai-St. Petersburg flights will be operated with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER. Emirates flights EK 173 and 174 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while EK 175 and 176 will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. EK 173 will depart Dubai at 09:10, arriving St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport at 14:15, whole the return flight, EK 174, departs St. Petersburg 16:45, arriving Dubai at 23:45. Emirates flight EK 175 departs Dubai at 15:45 and arrives in St. Petersburg at 20:50, while the return flight, EK 176, departs Pulkovo Airport at 23:15 and lands in Dubai at 06:15 the next morning (all times local).

Guests will be able to explore timely and futuristic exhibits, pavilions from over 190 nations and daily performances, concerts, workshops and more. Emirates’ guests visiting Dubai during the expo period will be eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass.
