On Sunday (September 18, 2020), Emirates announced the launch of a redesigned signature onboard experience with the introduction of additional health and safety measures. The carrier has also resumed their celebrated A380 Onboard Lounge and Shower Spa operations. Additionally, Emirates has introduced a new nutrient-rich welcome drink for their guests during the winter season. The First and Business Class A380 Onboard Lounge has been transformed into a take-away bar with limited seating capacity and social-distancing measures in place. The bar will continue to serve beverages and pre-packaged lounge bites for guests to enjoy in their own seats. Emirates’ customers can also place orders form their seats if they prefer. First and Business Class social areas on select Boeing 777s have also reopened, offering customers grab and go pre-packaged snacks.

A380 First Class customers can also once again enjoy a refreshing shower as the carrier has resumed Shower Spa operations. Guests will receive individual amenity bags featuring essentials from the award-winning organic and sustainable Irish brand VOYA. Spa visitors will also receive a disposable towel and a menu featuring additional options.

Starting November 1, 2020, Emirates is also relaunching their bespoke onboard dining experience, while observing strict hygiene protocols. Guests in every class will enjoy a complimentary selection of beverages including wine, beer, juices and soft drinks, while premium customers will also enjoy cocktails. Economy Class passengers can choose from two wines, while Business Class guests will be offered a selection of six wines including port and champagne. First Class guests will enjoy a selection of 11 wines including a dessert wine, port and Dom Perignon champagne.

The carrier’s new ‘Vitality Boost’ welcome drink will be offered to First and Business Class guests. The refreshing blend of apple, ginger and hibiscus has been designed by the airline’s chefs and nutritionists. The vegan beverage is packed with antioxidants and is free from gluten and sugar. The new healthy beverage offering will become an Emirates’ staple and will be refreshed to offer different flavors. Naturally, guests can still choose from a range of welcome drinks including juices and champagne.
