Emirates has officially introduced new service to Da Nang, Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia, expanding their East Asia network to 23 points. The inaugural flights to Da Nang and Siem Reap took to the skies on June 2nd and June 3rd, respectively.

On Wednesday (June 4, 2025), Emirates announced the official inauguration of new service to Da Nang, Vietnam and Siem Reap, Cambodia via Bangkok with the flights debuting on June 2nd and June 3rd, respectively. The inaugural flights were greeted at both destinations with traditional water cannon salutes and warm welcomes from government dignitaries and airport officials, while leadership teams from Emirates inaugurated the services at each destination. Both routes will now be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER, offering Emirates’ signature products and award-winning service, as well as seamless connections to Dubai and beyond across the carrier’s global network.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Emirates’ EVP – Passenger Sales and Country Management, Nabil Sultan, said,
“Launching two new routes via Bangkok marks a significant milestone in strengthening Emirates’ presence in Southeast Asia and reinforces our long-standing commitment to Thailand as a strategic gateway to the region. With these new services, travellers can now experience seamless connectivity across three distinct destinations—Dubai, Bangkok, and either Da Nang or Siem Reap—with a single ticket. We thank our partners, including the local authorities and airports for their cooperation and valuable contributions to Emirates’ expansion efforts in this region.”

Da Nang becomes Emirates’ third gateway in Vietnam, complementing service to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and will serve as a key link for high-value cargo, electronics, textiles and perishable goods. With 25 weekly flights to Vietnam, Emirates’ operations in the country are further supported by strong partnerships, including recent MoUs with Vietnam Airlines, VietJet and Sun Group. The new Dubai-Bangkok-Siem Reap route will operate three times weekly, joining existing daily service to Phnom Penh via Singapore, and also expands the carrier’s presence in Cambodia to 10 weekly flights.
