Emirates Brings the Christmas Cheer With Festive Onboard Offerings in All Cabins

Emirates announced on Thursday that they will serve 500,000 Christmas meals across all classes of customers on select flights between December 9th and 31st. Traditional holiday fare will also be offered across the airline’s 41 lounges.

During this Christmas Season, Emirates’ guests will be treated to a festive experience across all cabins and lounges. The award-winning airline announced Thursday they will serve 500,000 traditional Christmas meals to passengers traveling from Dubai to select routes to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, South Africa and the Philippines.


Economy Class passengers will enjoy a traditional holiday meal of turkey slices with mashed potatoes, green peas, baby carrots and cranberry jus lié. For dessert, Emirates’ acclaimed chefs have prepared mousse au chocolat topped with a festive chocolate button.

First and Business Class guests will be spoiled with roasted turkey breast and apricot stuffing, roast potatoes with creamy brussels sprouts with turkey bacon and cranberry jus lié. An offering of festive sweets will close the meal including Santa inspired chocolate cake or chocolate gingerbread cake. The newly curated First Class goodie basket (available in all suites) will include holiday favorites such as Butlers Chocolate and Orange Bar, Gingerbread popcorn, Lakrids Salted Caramel licorice and roast turkey and stuffing flavored crisps (potato chips).


Passengers flying on Emirates’ double-decker A380 jumbo jets can enjoy special holiday treats in the Onboard Lounge such as Santa’s Amarula Cocktail, minced pies, gingerbread snowman cookies and cranberry, coconut and white chocolate truffles. Regardless of aircraft, guests will enjoy Emirates’ bespoke selection of fine wines, champagne and premium spirits.

Not to be left out, young passengers will be treated to a traditional turkey dinner and a whimsical chocolate snowman treat will accompany all lunches and dinners. Kids traveling First Class will also be treated to decadent hot chocolate with marshmallows and star-shaped cookies. Young aviators will also be offered limited edition Polaroid photo-card sleeves and can collect a special Emirates “Fly with Me Animal Toy” Lumi the Snowman. Additionally, Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system ‘ice’ which offers over 4,500 on-demand channels will include a range of holiday classics such as The Polar Express, Elf, Home Alone, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and It’s a Wonderful Life.


A range of traditional holiday dishes will also be served across the airline’s 41 lounges, including the seven lounges at Dubai International Airport between December 15th and 31st. Dubai lounges will also feature unique ice cream flavors such as gingerbread and coconut caramel. Emirates celebrates other holidays throughout the year with special offerings including Diwali, Eid, Lunar New Year and Oktoberfest.
