Emirates has today announced the signing of a new strategic partnership MoU with Uber, that aims to enhance traveler journeys. Customers will benefit from an integrated booking experience, while UAE Emirates Skywards members will be able to earn Miles.

On Thursday (June 19, 2025), Emirates announced the launch of a new strategic partnership with Uber through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore ways to make journeys more seamless and rewarding for travelers. This will include an elevated on-ground mobility experience for Emirates’ guests, while offering UAE Skywards members loyalty benefits when using Uber in select markets across the Emirates network. The commercial, technical, and reward structure integration of the partnership will be determined in the coming months.
In Thursday’s announcement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said,
“Emirates is excited to join forces with Uber as part of our commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences. In the months ahead, we’ll closely work together to leverage our combined capabilities in travel and technology to expand planning options, create more connected end-to-end journeys across our network, and introduce exciting new benefits for our Skywards members. We look forward to a successful partnership and the valuable opportunities it will create for our customers.”
Also commenting on the new partnership, Uber’s Head of EMEA Mobility, Anabel Diaz Calderon, said,
“We’re thrilled to partner with Emirates, a global leader in aviation, to shape the future of travel. With tailored Uber airport rides offering seamless door-to-destination journeys and loyalty benefits for Uber and Emirates customers, this collaboration will redefine the travel experience for millions of passengers.”
Through this partnership, Emirates will introduce several initiatives to offer customers more seamless and effortless journeys. These include the development of an integrated booking experience that combines Uber Rides Vouchers with flight bookings for more convenient airport transfers or in-city rides. Additionally, the partners will explore offering Uber rides to/from airports for select Emirates customers, supporting a complete door-to-destination travel experience. As previously mentioned, the partnership will also explore opportunities to closely collaborate on offering Skywards members in the UAE the opportunity to earn on rides or redeem their miles for Uber app credits or vouchers.
Another area of collaboration will include the exploration of opportunities around ‘Last Mile’ delivery initiatives for Emirates Courier Express, leveraging Uber’s advanced technology platform and vast network of global delivery partners to enhance customer reach, speed and efficiency. To maximize awareness of the new partnership, Emirates and Uber will also explore leveraging cross promotional marketing campaigns across the carrier’s network.
