Emirates Adds Kabul, Afghanistan to Network, Bringing Destinations on Offer to 30

Emirates announced on Tuesday that they have received approval to offer passenger service to Kabul in Afghanistan from June 25, 2020. The new service brings the carrier’s total number of destinations currently on offer to 30.

Today, Emirates announced that they have received approval to offer service to Kabul, Afghanistan from June 25, 2020. With the new service, the carrier now has 30 destinations on offer including Bahrain, London-Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, New York-JFK, Chicago, Toronto, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Hong Kong, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Manila. As previously announced, Emirates has added service from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for travelers from Pakistan wishing to connect to the carrier’s global network from June 8, 2020. Additionally, Emirates’ guests can book flights between the Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas with seamless connections in Dubai.


Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures to ensure the health and well-being of guests and team members throughout their journey, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes. As travel restrictions remain in place in many locations, Emirates reminds guests that they will only be accepted on flights if they comply with eligibility and entry requirements of their destination countries.
