easyJet has today launched eight new routes from eight UK airports for the winter 2023/24 season. The new routes include service to destinations such as Rovaniemi, Finland, a favorite Christmas getaway, and the popular seaside resort of Hurghada in Egypt.
On Thursday (July 6, 2023), easyJet announced the launch of eight new routes from eight UK airports for the winter 2023/24 season. Customers looking for a magical Christmas experience will appreciate new service from Edinburgh and London Luton to Rovaniemi, the gateway to the Finnish Lapland, with flights launching on December 3rd and 9th respectively. Both routes will operate twice weekly during the winter season complement existing service to Rovaniemi from London Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester.
In today’s route announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Ali Gayward, said,
“We’re delighted to be launching even more new routes and holidays from our airports across the UK to a range of fantastic destinations, providing even more choice for our customers this winter whether they’re looking for a Christmas getaway, hitting the slopes or chasing the winter sun and we can’t wait to welcome more customers on board.”
easyJet is also launching four new routes from the UK to Egypt’s scuba diving hotspot, the resort city of Hurghada. Two weekly flights from Liverpool will operate from October 29th, while once weekly service from Belfast will start on October 31, 2023. Twice weekly service between Edinburgh and Hurghada will commence on November 6th, while two weekly flights from Glasgow will launch on November 8, 2023. easyJet has also added winter city break routes with service between Liverpool and Lyon, as well as between London Southend and Geneva.
Flights on all of the new routes are now available for booking with one-way fares from £22.99 per person including taxes. easyJet holidays packages are also available on six new routes, including thousands to Hurghada.
