easyJet and easyJet Holidays Add 16 New Routes for Summer 2022

easyJet will launch 16 new routes from eight UK Airports for summer 2022. The carrier will return to London Southend with flights to Malaga and Palma de Mallorca and from Newcastle to Palma, and will add more services to Spain, the Balearics, the Greek Islands and more.

On Monday (December 20, 2021), easyJet and easyJet Holidays announced an expansion of their summer 2022 schedule with 16 new routes and added service to Spain, the Balearics, the Greek Islands, Italy, Turkey Bulgaria and Morocco. The carrier will also return to London Southend with four weekly flights to Palma de Mallorca from May 1st and six weekly frequencies to Malaga from May 2nd, 2022. Additionally, easyJet will offer five weekly flights between Newcastle and Palma de Mallorca starting May 2nd, 2022. Flights are on sale today from only £22.99, with package holidays available through easyJet Holidays from £235 per person.


In Monday’s announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Ali Gayward, said,


“We are delighted to announce more new routes from the UK for next summer and provide our customers with an even wider range of fantastic beach and city destinations to enjoy. We remain committed to strengthening our unrivalled short-haul network and providing more affordable and easy connections to our customers across the UK, by offering low fares and more choice when they travel.”


Also commenting on easyJet’s summer 2022 schedule expansion, easyJet Holidays’ Commercial Director, Paul Bixby, said,


“After recent events we all need a holiday to look forward to, so we we’re pleased that even more of the UK can now enjoy easyJet holidays with the launch of new holidays to some of our favourite destinations. We’re committed to providing brilliant holiday experiences at unbeatable prices, with industry leading flexibility, so we’re really excited to take our customers who book one of our new holiday routes on their well-deserved beach breaks in 2022.”

easyJet guests can also look forward to service from London Luton to Chania and Agadir, as well as from Manchester to Naples, Burgas, Zakynthos and Rhodes. From Liverpool, new services include flights to Izmir and Heraklion, while customers departing Edinburgh will see new service to Malaga and Rhodes. easyJet will also offer flights between Belfast and Menorca for summer 2022.
