Discover Airlines Expands Short-Haul Network from Frankfurt and Munich for Summer 2026

Discover Airlines has announced that they will add new exclusive service between Frankfurt and Shannon, Ireland for summer 2026. The carrier is also adding new service from both Frankfurt and Munich to Larnaca, Cyprus.

On Tuesday (July 29, 2025), Discover Airlines announced an expansion of their short-haul network from Frankfurt and Munich for summer 2026. From next April, the carrier will offer the only direct connection from Germany to Shannon, Ireland, with twice weekly departures from Frankfurt. Starting at the end of March 2026, Discover will also launch daily flights from Frankfurt and Munich to the port city of Larnaca, Cyprus. The carrier will offer two daily flights from Frankfurt on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as well as two daily connections from Munich on Fridays and Sundays. These routes were previously operated by Lufthansa.
Additionally, Discover will offer twice-weekly service from Frankfurt to Brindisi, the historic port city on the Adriatic coast in Southern Italy, complementing existing service to Bari. From mid-May, the carrier will also add two new destinations from Munich, including Skiathos in Greece and Evenes in Norway, complementing existing service from Frankfurt. In total, Discover will serve 12 Greek and three Nordic destinations for summer 2026. Discover will also expand direct service between Frankfurt and Oulu in Finland to year-round from next summer.
Discover Airlines will offer service to over 40 short and medium-haul destinations from Frankfurt and Munich next summer. The carrier’s short and medium-haul fleet will grow by two more aircraft in spring 2026 to a total of 18 Airbus A320s, with eleven departing Frankfurt and seven from Munich.
