This week, LATAM Airlines Colombia started daily service between Bogotá and Orlando as part of the Group’s Joint Venture partnership with Delta Air Lines. Inbound passengers to Orlando can also enjoy one-stop connectivity to Delta’s expansive U.S. network.
On Wednesday (July 5, 2023), Delta Air Lines announced that their Joint Venture partner, LATAM Airlines Group, specifically LATAM Airlines Columbia, has launched new nonstop service between El Dorado Airport in Bogotá (BOG) and Orlando International Airport in Florida (MCO). The route will operate daily with an Airbus A320, offering 9,900 seats monthly. Delta currently offers double daily service between Bogotá and Atlanta (ATL) and will launch service between Cartagena (CTG) and Atlanta in December 22, 2023. With the new route, the international network of LATAM Airlines Colombia includes nine destinations in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Brazil and the U.S.
In Wednesday’s announcement, LATAM Airlines Colombia’s Commercial Manager, Camilo Prieto, said,
"The United States is one of the most relevant international destinations for Colombian passengers, and as such, this new service aligns with the strategy of delivering more direct connectivity for our customers, with security and an award-winning service in the region.”
Also commenting on the launch of the new Bogotá-Orlando route, Delta Air Lines’ Sales Manager for Colombia, Gianmarco Mazzetti, added,
"This new service operated by LATAM will allow us to expand our international operation and offer the best connection between North and South America to passengers on business or leisure trips.”
Delta and LATAM Group’s partnership links more than 200 North American destinations served by Delta to over 120 South American destinations served by LATAM.
