Delta Air Lines to Launch New Direct Service Between Atlanta and Riyadh

Starting October 2026, Delta will inaugurate new nonstop service between Atlanta and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350-900 featuring Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.

On Monday (October 27, 2025), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of new nonstop service between Atlanta (ATL) and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (RUH) starting October 2026. The route will operate three times weekly with an Airbus A350-900, featuring Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main. Delta One® guests will enjoy lie-flat seats, chef-curated meals and exclusive Missoni-designed amenities. Delta Premium Select provides wider seats with more recline and enhanced amenities, while Delta Comfort offers extra legroom, earlier boarding and dedicated overhead bin space.
In Monday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ CEO, Ed Bastian, said,
“Launching service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we start our second century of flight. Our new flights will connect customers to this dynamic, fast-growing region while delivering the care, comfort and reliability they expect. It reflects our bold vision to create meaningful opportunities and experiences in every corner of the world in the years ahead.”
Also commenting on the launch of Atlanta-Riyadh service, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, His Excellence Ahmed Al-Khateeb, said,
“We welcome Delta to Riyadh and look forward to the opportunities this service will create for travelers worldwide. Delta’s new nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh mark a significant milestone in strengthening global connectivity between our nations and will open new doors for tourism and cultural exchange while driving business and innovation.”
One of Delta’s longest routes at over 7,000 miles, the new service will also connect customers from Riyadh to the U.S. with seamless one-stop access to over 150 cities, offering Saudi travelers a direct bridge to explore the U.S. Riyadh will join other recently added Delta destinations, including Marrakech (starting Oct. 25, 2025), Melbourne (starting Dec. 3, 2025), Sardinia (starting May 20, 2026), Porto (starting May 21, 2026), Hong Kong (starting June 6, 2026), and Malta (starting June 7, 2026).
