Delta Air Lines’ fifth Sky Club at the carrier’s Detroit hub opened to travelers on December 7th and features local flair with ‘Motor City’ art and premium local microbrews. The 4,600 square-foot space is located near Gate A43 seats up to 100 guests.
On Tuesday (December 7, 2021), Delta Air Lines announced the opening of their fifth Delta Sky Club at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) which features premium beverage offerings such as Motor City-made microbrews, along with curated art from local artists. The new 4,600 square-foot lounge is near Gate A43 seats up to 100 guests and overlooks the concourse and the existing main Club. The artwork in the space reflects the beauty of Detroit from Michigan based artists including Kelly Reemtsen, Robert Denton, Rosalind Tallmadge and Rock Therrien. A new premium bar offers complimentary beverages, as well as upgraded options like wines, beers, spirits and signature cocktails.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Delta Sky Clubs’ Managing Director, Claude Roussel, said,
“The opening of a fifth Delta Sky Club in Detroit demonstrates our investment in the city and our customers’ demand for Club experiences. We've put care into every detail — from the local artwork to the Club design – to create an elevated experience for guests and provide a space that allows them to rest easy this holiday season.”
Delta also has several Club renovations and refreshes slated for 2022, and looks forward to opening new Clubs at Los Angeles International Airport, New York’s LaGuardia Airport and in other key markets next year.
