On Wednesday (October 13, 2021), Corsair announced the restart of flights between France and Mauritius starting October 22, 2021. The carrier will offer up to five weekly flights from Paris-Orly, as well as two weekly flights from Lyon and Marseille. In addition to three weekly direct flights from Paris-Orly to Mauritius, the airline is also launching two weekly flights from Paris-Orly to Mauritius via Reunion on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights from Lyon will be operated with a short stopover in Marseille (1:10 outbound, 1:00 inbound) , without an aircraft change. Upon arrival in Reunion, Corsair guests will benefit from a short connection to Mauritius (1h20 outbound and 1h30 inbound) via a simple transit in the terminal in Reunion.
All flights to Mauritius will be operated with a new 352-seat Airbus A330neo featuring 20 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy and 311 Economy Class seats, including 33 in Economy+. The A330neo offers improved environmental performance versus previous generation aircraft with a 60 percent noise footprint reduction (six decibels in the cabin), and a 25 percent reduction in fuel consumption and emissions per seat.
