On Wednesday (November 30, 2022), Condor announced the launch of all new service between Frankfurt and Sphinx International Airport on the western edge of Cairo from March 2023. The newly-built airport is located in close proximity to the Pyramids of Giza, offering greater convenience for holidaymakers and cultural enthusiasts. The route will be operated twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays with an Airbus A320. Tickets are now available for booking at Condor.com, by telephone, and through tour operators and travel agencies. In addition to Sphinx Airport, Condor also offers service to the Red Sea seaside resort of Hurghada, with 34 weekly flights from six German airports.

As previously mentioned, the location of the newly-built and opened Sphinx International Airport is ideal, allowing visitors to reach the New Egyptian Museum quickly and easily, along with the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, Egypt’s most famous landmarks. Additionally, travelers will also enjoy convenient access to Cairo’s city center. Thus, travelers can enjoy Egypt’s unique antiquities before exploring the exciting metropolis of Cairo.
