On Thursday (June 24, 2021), Condor announced their summer 2021 and winter 2021/22 schedules from Zurich. For summer, the carrier’s two Zurich-based Airbus A320s will fly several times weekly to popular Mediterranean getaways including Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Greece (Crete, Kos, Rhodes), Cyprus (Larnaca), and Sardinia (Olbia). Condor’s winter 2021/22 schedule from Zurich includes service to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with added service to Funchal and Madeira from November. All flights in the current summer and winter schedules are now bookable either as a package tour with all Swiss tour operators, through travel agencies, or as flight-only tickets on the airline's website.

In Wednesday’s schedule announcement, Condor Switzerland’s Country Manager, Thomas Welti, said,

“Condor has been flying its guests on vacation for 65 years - and from July, things will finally get off to a flying start from Zurich. We're launching in Zurich with a diverse selection of destinations, a competitive product and the kind of service that lets vacations begin on board. And because we have pent-up demand for real beach, sun and sea after all the videoconferencing, we are bringing all sun-seekers to the most popular destinations for the winter season as well. Flights from October to Easter 2022 are already available for booking.”

Founded in 1956, Condor is Germany’s favorite leisure airline, normally serving around 9.4 million guests annually to 90 destinations in Europe, Africa and America from eight German gateways. During the financial year 2018/2019, Condor Flugdienst recorded a net profit of €57 million on revenue of €1.7 billion. The German leisure carrier has a fleet of 50 aircraft which are meticulously maintained to the highest safety standards by their wholly-owned subsidiary Condor Technik with facilities in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
