On Tuesday (March 14, 2023), China Airlines announced the launch of twice weekly service between Taipei and Prague starting July 18, 2023. The route will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays with an Airbus A350. Flight CI076 will depart Taoyuan Airport at 23:20 and arrive in Prague at 07:10+1, following the 13 hour and 50 minute flight. The return flight (Wednesdays and Sundays), CI068, departs Prague at 11:05 and arrives in Taipei at 05:35+1, following the 12 hour and 30 minute flight. China Airlines’ Airbus A350 is configured with 32 Premium Business Class, 31 Premium Economy Class and 243 Economy Class seats.
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and the country’s largest city. The Bohemian ‘Fairytale City’ was the first city to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features elegant historic buildings and a classical air of mystery. Founded on the Vltava River, Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The river flows through the city’s Castle, Lesser Town, Old Town and New Town districts. Some of the most popular attractions include the Old Town Square, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Astronomical Clock, and Charles Bridge.

Celebrating the launch of the route, China Airlines is offering Economy Class return fares from TWD 27,160 (US $883.27) before tax. With over 40 years of development, China Airlines has built a comprehensive European network, with Prague becoming the sixth all-new destination added. The carrier also currently serves Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, Rome and Vienna. With nearly 30 European flights weekly, China Airlines more frequencies between Taiwan and Europe than any other airline.
