Planespotters can rejoice, as Brussels Airlines and Moulinsart have extended their partnership through 2026, with the Belgian Icon Rackham aircraft’s livery to be restored to its original state. The interior will also be upgraded with more Tintin illustrations by Hergé.
Today (September 3, 2021), Brussels Airlines announced that their partnership with Moulinsart will be extended until 2026 and the Belgian Icon Rackham’s livery will be restored to its original state. A planespotter favorite and one of the most photographed airplanes in the world, Rackham will now remain in the Brussels Airlines fleet for at least five years. In addition to the livery restoration, the aircraft’s interior has also been upgraded with more Tintin illustrations by the hand of Hergé.
