BA CityFlyer will offer twice-weekly return service between London City Airport and Guernsey, as well as Guernsey and Edinburgh starting June 25, 2021. The flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays and the routes will be serviced with Embraer E190s.
On Tuesday (May 11, 2021), British Airways announced the launch of BA CityFlyer service between London City Airport and Guernsey, as well as between Guernsey and Edinburgh. Starting June 25, 2021, both routes will operate on Mondays and Fridays, providing conveniently timed summer holiday getaways. The Guernsey-Edinburgh route will be the only direct link on offer over the summer months. Flights from London City Airport to Guernsey start at £90 return, or £70 plus 2,900 Avios, while Guernsey-Edinburgh flights start from £78 return, or £58 plus 2,900 Avios. The quoted ticket prices are based on return fares in Euro Traveller. Both routes will operate through September 27, 2021 and will be serviced with BA CityFlyer Embraer E190s.
In Tuesday’s announcement, BA CityFlyer’s Managing Director, Tom Stoddart, said,
“We’re confident our new route from London City Airport to Guernsey will be popular this summer with customers looking for a UK getaway. And, it’s an honour to be launching the only direct service between Guernsey and Edinburgh this summer.”
