British Airways has added over 93,000 seats to 13 popular sunny holiday destinations including 10 in Greece, two in the Canary Islands and one in Turkey. Starting today, the carrier is offering introductory one-way fares from £49.00-£99.00.
On Tuesday (May 11, 2021), British Airways announced the addition of over 93,000 seats to their summer 2021 schedule, including service to sunny holiday hotspots including 10 in Greece, two destinations in the Canary Islands and one in Turkey. Starting today, introductory one way fares are available starting at only £49. For example, customers departing London-Heathrow can enjoy one-way fares to Lanzarote from £49, Rhodes from £79 or Corfu and Chania from £99. The capacity increase follows the announcement that Britons are likely to be able to get a well-deserved summer holiday after all.
In Tuesday’s announcement, British Airways’ Director of Networks and Alliances, Neil Chernoff, said,
“It’s clear Britons are hoping that their favourite destinations will be open by the time summer comes. We want to provide them with access to book seats to the places they love to help them get away, and trust that if they can’t travel, we will be there for them with incredible flexibility to make changes to their bookings.”
From June and July onwards, British Airways is adding 26 additional weekly frequencies to popular holiday hotspots such as Corfu, Kos, Paphos, Rhodes, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Bodrum. The newly established flights to Greece and the Canary Islands are now bookable for travel from June 21st and September 5, 2021, while service to Bodrum in Turkey can be booked for travel from July 18, 2021.
British Airways Holidays is also offering customers the opportunity to reserve a holiday from only £60 per person, with the ability to make flexible payments until the balance is due three weeks prior to departure. By booking directly with British Airways, customers will enjoy the added benefit of the airline’s flexible booking policy, including the ability to change dates and destinations, or claim a voucher if they wish to cancel.
