Boeing Elects Bradley D. Tilden to Board

Boeing has announced the appointment of former Alaska Air Group President and CEO Bradley D. Tilden to their Board of Directors.  Mr. Tilden will join the Aerospace Safety and Finance committees.

On Wednesday (December 3, 2025), Boeing announced the election of Bradley D. Tilden (64) to the company’s Board of Directors.  Brad Tilden is the former President and CEO of Alaska Air Group, and he will serve on Boeing’s Aerospace Safety and Finance committees.  During his 31-year career at Alaska, Tilden held several senior leadership roles, including CFO and then President of Alaska Airlines.  From 2012, he began serving as President and CEO of Alaska Air Group, and was named Executive Chairman in 2021.  The 12th member of Boeing's Board, Tilden will be the 10th new director added since 2019, as part of the board’s renewal.


In Thursday’s announcement, Boeing’s Chairman, Steve Mollenkopf, said,


“Brad brings a distinct customer perspective, proven leadership in the airline industry, and more than three decades of aviation experience.  His experience in safety management systems and financial expertise will be invaluable to our Board as we continue to make progress in the company’s recovery.”
