Binter has received their fourth of five Embraer E195-E2s on order, which will be named ‘Lanzarote’ and be deployed on domestic and international routes. The carrier also received the award for Europe’s third youngest fleet from ch-aviation.
On Friday (March 19, 2021), Binter Canarias S.A. (Binter) announced that they have received their fourth of five Embraer E-195s on order, as the aircraft landed at Gran Canaria Airport in the Canary islands. The aircraft will be named ‘Lanzarote’ and well be deployed on domestic and international routes, including high-demand inter-island routes. The quiet and efficient jet has been configured with 132 seats, with a 31 inch pitch, and overhead bins which can accommodate one carry-on bag per guest. Binter further announced that they have been awarded third place for Europe in ch-aviation’s ‘World’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet Award’ by Switzerland-based ch-aviation, an airline data and intelligence service. Binter’s fleet of 26 aircraft have an average age of only 3.53 years.
