Lufthansa has today announced a new collaboration with German-born NBA Basketball legend Dirk Nowitzki, who will become the face of the Lufthansa Allegris advertising campaign.
On Tuesday (August 6, 2024), Lufthansa announced the launch of a new partnership with NBA basketball legend Dirk Nowitzki. The German-born superstar will become the face of the new Lufthansa Allegris advertising campaign. Mr. Nowitzki played his entire career with the Dallas Mavericks in the U.S. In the ad, the 2.13 meter tall athlete can be seen sleeping in the 2.20 meter long bed of Lufthansa’s Allegris Business Class.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Lufthansa’s Vice President – Carsten Hoffman, said,
“Strong roots in Germany, as well as all over the world - that applies to both Dirk Nowitzki and Lufthansa. Dirk is an icon and stands for strong values, charisma and high quality in everything he tackles. This makes him the perfect partner for us and we are delighted to have him on board for our Allegris campaign.”

Lufthansa Allegris offers an unrivaled long-haul travel experience, thanks to the wide variety of seating options. All cabins, from Economy to Premium Economy, Business and First Class, will feature new cabin interiors and seats. Business Class guests will be able to choose from five different seating options, including a suite with doors, a wardrobe and a small mini-bar. Additionally, all First and Business Class seats have a heating and cooling systems so that travelers can adjust the temperature to their desired comfort level. The Lufthansa Allegris campaign with Dirk Nowitzki starts in the U.S. today, and will be shown internationally in the coming months, including Germany.
