BARIG Announces Law Firm Stenger Rechtsanwälte as Newest Business Partner

The Board of Airline representatives in Germany (BARIG) has today announced the law firm Stenger Rechtsanwälte as their newest business partner, adding further legal expertise to the association.

On Wednesday (March 27, 2024), The Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG) announced the law firm Stenger Rechtsanwälte as their newest business partner.  The firm further expands the association’s legal expertise, as members deal with legal details in matters from the recruitment of foreign skilled workers, to passenger rights and the General Data Protection Regulation.  With the addition of Stenger Rechtsanwälte, located in Hamburg and Berlin, BARIG welcomes a new business partner in the ‘Legal/Advocate/Notary’ field.


In Wednesday’s announcement, BARIG’s Chairman and Executive Director, Michael Hoppe, said,

 

“Through the business partnership with Stenger Rechtsanwälte, we gain further legal expertise. This can help our members to better navigate within an increasingly complex legal environment, while remaining focused on their core business.”

 

Also commenting on the new partnership, Jana-Natascha Garish, Managing Partner at Stenger Rechtsanwälte, added,

 

“Thanks to our extensive experience in court and consultancy work, we are always well informed about important issues and future challenges in aviation law.  We are looking forward to initiating new discussions through the mutual exchange of knowledge within the BARIG community.”


Stenger Rechtsanwälte is a specialist in aviation law, with focuses, inter alia, on legal disputes concerning the rights of passengers, and assists in the settlement of conflicts with arbitration boards of the German Federal Aviation Authority.  The firm’s experienced team also offers legal advice on the establishment of German subsidiaries by foreign airlines, issues relating to employment and real estate law, as well as cyber security consulting.

 

Founded in 1951, Frankfurt am Main-based BARIG (Board of Airline Representatives in Germany e.V.) represents over 100 national and international airlines in the scheduled, charter, low cost and air cargo sectors.  The association works to improve conditions in the aviation industry in Germany and is the key industry contact for politics, authorities, industry and media.
