British Airways is launching new routes across Europe for the summer 2022 season. Operating from London City Airport, BA CityFlyer will offer new service to Barcelona, Luxembourg, Milan and Thessaloniki. All routes will be operated with an Embraer E190.
On Wednesday (January 12, 2022), British Airways announced that BA CityFlyer will offer new service for summer 2022 from London City Airport to Barcelona, Luxembourg, Milan and Thessaloniki, complementing an already extensive network. All flights will be operated with a BA CityFlyer Embraer E190 aircraft. Daily service to Luxembourg and Milan will start on March 27th and Saturday service to Thessaloniki will commence on June 18th. The new service to Milan Malpensa (MXP) replaces existing service to Milan Linate (LIN). Service to Barcelona will begin on June 19, 2022 and will operate six days weekly, every day except Saturday. Additionally, routes to Jersey and Guernsey will return for summer 2022, with flights operating on Mondays and Fridays from June 20th through September 2, 2022.
In Today’s announcement, BA CityFlyer’s Managing Director, Tom Stoddart, said,
“As customers start to plan their next summer getaway, we wanted to offer new routes to some of the most popular European destinations. Conveniently accessible from London City airport, they are a great addition to our extensive network.”
A limited number of tickets are available for low fares based on a return ticket in Euro Traveller including flights to Barcelona from £82, Luxembourg from £82, Milan from £104 and Thessaloniki from £126.
