Avelo Launches New Exclusive Nonstop Service From Daytona Beach to New Haven and Philadelphia

Avelo Airlines has today announced the launch of new exclusive nonstop service between Daytona Beach, Florida and New Haven, Connecticut. The carrier will also start new direct service between Daytona Beach and Philadelphia/Wilmington, Delaware on June 23rd.

On Thursday (June 22, 2023), Avelo Airlines celebrated the launch of new exclusive nonstop service between Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) and Tweed-New Haven Airport (HNV) in Southern Connecticut. The route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays with introductory one-way fares from $49. Additionally, on Friday, June 23rd, Avelo will start new direct service between Daytona Beach and Wilmington Airport (ILG) in Delaware, a convenient gateway to Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley Region. The Philadelphia-area route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays with one-way fares from $49. To qualify for the low promotional fares, tickets must be booked by July 4th for travel completed by October 31, 2023.


In Thursday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Chairman and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

We’re excited to begin service to Southern Connecticut and Philadelphia, bringing Avelo’s low fares, industry-leading reliability and caring service to Daytona Beach. These routes also offer Connecticut and Philly-area Customers with easy hometown airport access to everything Daytona has to offer just in time for summer.”


Also commenting on the new routes, Daytona International Airport’s Director, Karen Feaster, added,


“We look forward to welcoming new passengers from New Haven and Wilmington to the Daytona Beach area, and these are also great new destinations for our residents to explore. We are hopeful these two new flights are just the beginning of expanded service options here and we are looking forward to a great partnership with Avelo.”
