Avelo Airlines has today launched their new route from Hollywood Burbank Airport near Los Angeles and Boise Airport in Idaho. To celebrate the new service, the carrier is offering introductory one-way fares from only $69.
On Tuesday (May 24, 2022), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new service between Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Boise Airport (BOI) in Idaho. The route will operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Fridays with a 189-seat Boeing 737-800NG. Celebrating the new service, the carrier is offering introductory one-way fares from $69. To qualify for the low promotional fares, tickets must be booked by June 1st for travel on select dates through November 7, 2022. During 2021, over 50,000 people relocated to Idaho, and over the last five years, Californians represented nearly half of the new settlers. Therefore, the new service will provide a low-cost option for customers traveling between Boise and the Los Angeles area for business, leisure, or to visit friends and relatives.
In Today’s announcment, Avelo Airlines’ CEO, Andrew Levy, said,
“It’s officially time for Avelo to say hello to Boise. There is a special bond between LA and Boise as an increasing number of Southern Californians relocate to Southwestern Idaho. With today’s inaugural departure, traveling between these two popular and beautiful destinations is now easier than ever.”
Also commenting on Avelo’s new service, Boise Airport’s Director, Rebecca Hupp, added,
“We are thrilled to welcome Avelo Airlines to the Boise Airport today. Nonstop service to Burbank Airport provides convenient access to downtown LA and Southern California attractions—a quick and easy summer getaway!”
