Earlier this week, All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced new service to Istanbul, Milan, Moscow, Shenzhen and Stockholm beginning in 2020. Frequencies will also be increased from Tokyo-Haneda to Los Angeles and Sydney next year. Tickets will be available for purchase from mid-December 2019, for summer 2020 travel. In Tuesday’s announcement, ANA Senior Vice President, Seiichi Takahashi said,

“There is growing demand to visit Japan, and ANA will increase its international service just as Haneda Airport also expands to adapt for inbound Japanese tourism. These new routes will increase the ease and convenience for passengers flying to Japan from across the world, a significant benefit of our dual hub strategy.”

ANA is also relocating routes to Delhi, Houston, Los Angeles, San Jose and Washington DC from Tokyo-Narita to Tokyo-Haneda, increasing the number of international flights during local daytime hours. In total, the airline will serve 12 new summer routes out of Tokyo-Haneda between March 29, 2020 and October 24, 2020. The cities include Qingdao, Shenzhen, Delhi, Milan, Moscow, Stockholm, Istanbul, Houston, San Francisco, San Jose (California), Seattle and Washington DC.
