From Spring 2024, Allegiant travel will launch 12 new direct routes to popular vacation destinations, expanding their network options in 22 cities nationwide. The carrier has also added Orlando International Airport (MCO) to their growing network.
On Thursday (November 16, 2023), Allegiant Travel Company announced the launch of 12 new nonstop routes to popular leisure destinations starting May 2024, expanding their network options in 22 cities nationwide. Additionally, Allegiant has added Orlando International Airport (MCO) to their robust network, the airline's first new station since March 2022.
In Thursday’s announcement, Allegiant’s Vice President of Revenue and Planning, and Chief Revenue Officer, Drew Wells, said,
“We are thrilled to offer Allegiant travelers new destination options taking off this spring. The announcement of new service is a celebration of the success we’ve had in these markets. Also, the addition of a new station makes us a more dynamic airline. We are committed to opening the door to accessible travel in as many markets as possible and know our customers appreciate the low-cost, nonstop options offered by Allegiant.”
Founded in 1999, Las Vegas-based Allegiant is an integrated travel company with an airline at its heart, and a focus on linking passengers from small to medium cities to world-class leisure destinations with all non-stop flights and industry-low average fares. The company offers base airfares that are often half the price of a typical roundtrip ticket and currently operates an all-Airbus A320 Family fleet. Allegiant has also placed an order for up to 100 Boeing 737-7 and 737-8-200 MAX jets.
