On Thursday (August 19, 2021), Allegiant Travel announced the introduction of Allways Rewards, the first loyalty program designed specifically for leisure travelers. The signature non-credit loyalty program brings together the best of tech, travel and retail, without blackout dates or mileage tracking. Members will have the opportunity to redeem points for flights, rental cars and hotels, as well as sports tickets, live music events and exclusive experiences. The program rollout will be accompanied by the Allways Rewards Launch Sweepstakes, starting September 3, 2021. One grand prize winner will receive a year of concert tickets, a pair of tickets to eight NFL Las Vegas Raiders home football games at Allegiant Stadium, and travel vouchers to Las Vegas or any other Allegiant destination. Customers who enroll in Allways Rewards by September 13, 2021 will be automatically entered.

In today’s announcement, Allegiant’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Scott DeAngelo, said,

“We designed Allways Rewards specifically to have an immediate personal impact for our customers. It was truly inspired by the best innovative technology and retail programs that make earning, tracking and using rewards incredibly easy. It's a generational departure from traditional miles-based airline loyalty, which exclusively addresses high-mileage business travelers with long layovers in airport lounges. This program is about always earning, redeeming and getting something in return – without having to calculate miles, or worry about exceptions like blackout dates and point expiration. It specifically benefits the way that leisure travelers fly, where they stay, and how they play. Allways Rewards members are free to spend their points at any time, in any amount for anything sold at allegiant.com.”

Allways Rewards is based on a user friendly points-based system where members receive on point for every dollar spent at Allegiant.com and two points for every dollar spent over $500 (excluding taxes and fees). Points are available for use 72 hours after travel and are redeemed at $0.01 per point. There are no blackout dates, usage fees or minimum redemption amount and points do not expire for members who purchase travel with Allegiant within 24 months.

Points can also be seamlessly combined with vouchers and promo codes. Allways Rewards points will be awarded to the buyer rather than the individual traveler, so the purchasing member will receive full credit for family travel, not just their own ticket. Additionally, later this year members will receive a five percent discount on all airfare purchased at Allegiant.com. The program has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the Allegiant World Mastercard, which will be rebranded as Allways Rewards this month.

Founded in 1999, Las Vegas, Nevada-based Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) links passengers from small to medium cities to world-class leisure destinations with all non-stop flights and industry-low average fares. The company offers base airfares that are often half the price of a typical roundtrip ticket. Allegiant operates an all-Airbus A320 Family fleet.
